I'm willing to run this every other thursday. It's a little jumpy with levels, and you could play multiple characters (though only one at a time). Possibly slightly later starting times to help me out (630p). Is there enough interest for a table?

The Final Countdown!

Mysterious ancient artifacts from sand-choked Osirion count down the years until a rare planetary conjunction that will align Pathfinder's world of Golarion with the hostile planet Aucturn, allowing the ravenous hordes of the Dominion of the Black to surge forth and harvest the brains of the Inner Sea, remaking the world in their terrible, alien image. Doomsday Dawn takes the heroes on a decade-long journey throughout Golarion as they attempt to understand and defeat the otherworldy menace and avoid utter catastrophe. This collection of seven multi-encounter scenarios is designed to introduce the Pathfinder Playtest rules in a guided, shared playtest experience coinciding with regular surveys and feedback from players like you!

LEVEL
Each PC should be 4th level.

BACKGROUNDS
Each player should choose a background
from those listed on pages 38–39 of the
Pathfinder Playtest Rulebook.

LANGUAGES
Inform the players that three languages—
Auran, Gnoll, and Ancient Osiriani—
might open up additional role-playing
or investigatory opportunities in this
chapter, and that they have access to
those languages. However, knowledge of
these languages isn’t required to complete
“In Pale Mountain’s Shadow.”

PURCHASING GEAR
Each character begins with one 3rd-level
item, two 2nd-level items, one 1st-level
item, and 300 sp to spend on additional
items. As the GM, you determine which
items the PCs can start with, but they
should have access to at least all common
items of their level or lower. The characters
already know each other, so they can pool
their money to buy items.
